Restoran 828 SoonKi @ Setia Indah

Explorer mode on. First time at this Kopitiam. Surprised that it is actually full house.
Got down, shared a table with an ahpek (who left shortly after I sat down, guess I am too scary)

Actually I wanted to have something soupy due to sorethroat BUT something on the table attracted my attention.

bunch of Nasi Lemak on the table
Whole lots of NASI LEMAK BUNGKUS weyyyyyy!!!

How can I possibly say no to Nasi Lemak Bungkus??? Ofcos I grab a pack and makan la.

Sambal for this Nasi Lemak are packed in a separate packaging

Eagerly unwrapped the pack of Nasi Lemak but potong stim when I saw the sambal was separated in another tiny plastic wrapper. Gotta dirty my hand to open it up and it is not very environment friendly lah.

Comes with a quarter boiled egg, for RM1.50, can't expect much

After dirtying my hand to take out the sambal, taa-dah, the egg are revealed!!
It is RM1.50 per pack, quarter egg, rice, sambal in plastic wrapper.

I am guessing these Nasi Lemak are prepared by Chinese as the sambal taste like very Chinese style, not the regular Malay style which is sweet and spicy. The sambal for this pack of Nasi Lemak is SPICY (not sure if it is because I am sick, but it is very spicy, very strong kick)
The rice has a nice coconut santan fragrance. But not the type of sambal that I love (Sweet and spicy ala Malay style)

While enjoying my nasi lemak and kopi-o, I noticed that a lot of patron are having roti canai / prata.
Look around for that stall as I guess it should be a local Malay/Indian that are manning the stall.
Voila!! Bingo!! Found a stall in the middle of the kopitiam, with a friendly looking young Malay abang making roti prata.

Fast hand fast leg and ordered a Roti Telur Bawang.
It came with dhal + sambal. Didn't ask for curry as I am not feeling well anyway.
At first glance, it didn't really attract me much. But BOY, after the first bite, the taste grow on me.
First, it is not oily at all.
The bread, it is not super crispy kind  but it feels a little fluffy, soft. It taste very 'clean', each bite is very enjoyable with the eggs and onion in it. The sambal feels a little on the spicy side too.

The sambal is nice

Will be back few days later to double confirm if the sambal for the nasi & roti are indeed spicy or it is because of my sorethroat.
